Help Support Our Family Business that was Devastated by Hurricane Helene and Milton

Megan's to Support Family's Business Devastated by Hurricane Helene and Milton

In October 2024, Sarasota was hit by two back-to-back hurricanes, Helene and Milton. The storms continued to move north, devastating many homes and businesses along Florida's coast and the southeastern United States.

As a result, St. Armands Circle in Sarasota was hit harder than it has been in decades. Over four feet of water destroyed nearly every business, including many others on the barrier islands such as Siesta Key.

One of the affected businesses was Little Bo-Tique Children's Wear, owned by Jim and Joyce Condrack, parents of Jeff Condrack, daughter in-law, Megan Condrack.

A Message from Jim and Joyce...

Dear Friends,

After much reflection, countless discussions, and many tears, we are heartbroken to share this difficult decision. The devastation of Hurricane Helene, followed so soon by Hurricane Milton, was simply too much to bear. With that said, we have made the painful choice to close Little Bo-Tique Children’s Wear in St. Armands Circle. Reopening the store is no longer feasible—emotionally, physically, or financially.

For 59 years, Little Bo-Tique has been a cherished part of the Circle, and it’s hard to imagine it gone. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to have shared in your family’s milestones and memories. We will always treasure the friendships, loyalty, and sense of community that grew from this special place.

Though this marks the end of Little Bo-Tique as a storefront, we are hopeful it is not the end of the brand itself. With the support of our family, we plan to continue offering select children’s items online. As a first step, we’ll be listing these items on our son and daughter-in-law’s website, an extension of their Highland Village, Texas, store. Megan and Jeff began their journey with a children’s store and have since expanded into women’s fashion and kids’ gifts, making their platform a fitting temporary home for Little Bo-Tique’s offerings. Over the coming weeks, we will work diligently to make as many items as possible available online, with the hope of eventually expanding to a dedicated children’s website.

We kindly ask for your support during this transition. By shopping and making a purchase from our remaining inventory on Megan's website you’ll directly help us rebuild from this loss. Please consider sharing this message with your friends and family on social media so that the cherished legacy of Little Bo-Tique can reach new generations.

We hope you'll continue to be part of this next chapter with us and look forward to reconnecting with each of you in our online community. Thank you for your love, prayers, and support as we make this transition.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Jim and Joyce Condrack
